You will need:
*Plane And Cloud Love from Nicole Young's "Love Is In The Air 2" freebie kit
{Please note this tutorial
is fiddley and requires lots and lots of patience}
Open up the plane and the cloud love in paintshop.
Resize the plane to 20% smartsize and the love word to 10% smartsize.
Open a new image 500x500 and fill it with any colour, i used blue this layer will be deleted later.
For now hide the love layer.
With the selection tool set to freehand select around the plane like this:
Now click selections and promote the selection to a layer.
Make the original plane layer active and press delete, then selections and select none.
You should now have a seperate layer with just the plane on. Hide that layer for now.
Now you should have the little puffs of smoke visable, we want each of these on seperate layers so repeat what you did with the plane, select the first puff with the selection tool, promote selection to layer, and delete from the original puff layer.
When you have done them your layer palette should show this:
Now unhide the cloud love layer and position as below, i lined it up over the puffs of smoke.
Now you can hide the puffs.
Use the selection tool to put each letter on a different layer like you did with the puffs.
This is my layer palette now:
Ok hide them for now and unhide your plane layer, make the plane layer active and duplicate the layer.
Now use your mover tool on the top copy just drag the plane up slightly:
We will call these top plane and bottom plane.
Unhide the LOVE letters and click the selection tool set at rectangle, select around your image like this:
now click image and crop to selection
open animation shop now
{I changed my transparency background to darker so i could see the clouds properly: click file>preferences and general program preferences click the transparency tab and change the grid colours}
Ok in paintshop hide the top plane and all the love letters, unhide the first puff of smoke. Hide the blue background.
Click edit and copy merged, go to animation shop and paste as a new animation
back into paintshop, unhide puff2, hide puff 1, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
(im sorry it does get confusing)
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, unhide puff3, hide puff 2, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, unhide puff4, hide puff 3, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, hide puff4, unhide puff1, unhide E, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame go back to psp
Hide puff1, unhide puff2, leave E as it is, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame go back to psp
Hide puff2, unhide puff3 leave E as it is, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame go back to psp
back into paintshop, unhide puff1, hide puff3, unhide V, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, hide puff1, unhide puff2, leave V and E as they are, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, hide puff 2,unhide puff 1,unhide O leave V and E as they are, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, hide puff1, unhide L leave O, V and E as they are, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, L leave O, V and E as they are, hide bottom plane and unhide top plane
click edit and copy merged, go to AS and paste after current frame
back into paintshop, L leave O, V and E as they are, unhide bottom plane and hide top plane
you should now have 14 frames, click view and animation and voila your lil love planes doned, save as an mng if you want to use it on later tags.
