A Little Bird Told Me

A Little Bird Told Me

For this tutorial you will need

*Tube of choice, i am using the work of Suzanne Woolcott, click here to buy a licence
* Flowers, i did not paint this but i did make it taggable by layering it etc please do not reshare or use in another tut without permission, if you are the painter let me know so i can credit!
*Font i used Send Flowers (payfont)

*SUPPLIES*

Open up the littlebirdy template from the supplies.

Make the background layer active and add a new layer, fill with a light colour from your tube or from the template, i used #ebf1d0

Now you can either add a mask to this layer or make the top layer active, click selections, select all and then selections and float, selections and defloat, selections and feather by 30 then selections and invert, make the coloured layer active and hit delete, selections and select none.

Add your tube and resize to suit, i resized by 65% bicubic, sometimes smartsize is better if bicubic makes it go pixelly.

Position underneith the top layer, add dropshadow of choice.

Now with your shape tool, set to circle, line width 1, forground colour any, background null, draw a circle around the flowers so we can add text on a curve.

Choose your font and a background colour, i used the same as earlier, i set my font size to 16 then i used this line:

"A little bird told me about the smell of the early monday morning lawn as if i had never smelt a dawn"

if you find your text is too close to the flowers, click image and resize by 103% smart size untill its how you want it.

Next add your name and copyright and then save
